EETEAP
The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) is an innovative initiative developed and endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This alternative educational framework is specifically tailored for working professionals who have not enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree. By recognizing and accrediting prior learning and professional experience, ETEEAP offers a viable substitute for conventional academic pathways, enabling individuals to earn their degrees through a more flexible and relevant approach.
Avatar Virtual Academy evaluates an applicant’s knowledge and skills through a rigorous and structured set of requirements. This includes equivalency competence standards and a comprehensive assessment system that incorporates a variety of methods such as written tests, interviews, skills demonstrations, and other evaluative techniques. The Objective Of The Program
The Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) is designed to provide a pathway for individuals with at least five years of professional experience to obtain a bachelor’s degree without the need for traditional classroom-based education. This innovative program recognizes and values the knowledge, skills, and achievements acquired through their careers. By converting these competencies into academic credits, ETEEAP significantly reduces the number of units required for graduation, offering a streamlined and practical route to academic qualification.
Who can join the Program?
Anyone with at least a high school diploma or the PEPT placement equivalent to the first year of college is permitted to enroll. Candidates must have been employed for an aggregate minimum of five (5) years in the industry relevant to the course applied, and must at least be 25 years of age.
Admission Requirements
Accomplished ETEEAP application form – 2 copies (for ETEEAP & CHED copy)
– To verify your ETEEAP qualifications, we’ll need your Certificate of Employment with JOB DESCRIPTION and Previous Employment; if business owner – you’ll need to submit the business permit and other documents, licenses, and tax payments.
